"The 5 Languages of Appreciation in the Workplace"

by Gary Chapman and Paul White

Online - 6 Thursdays from noon - 1 pm (PDT) beginning February 9th

It's likely you have heard about the 5 love languages in relationships. However, you may not know that people have preferences for how they like to be acknowledged at work. One size does not fit all and getting it right has a significant impact on the level of satisfaction people have in their jobs.

When asked, employers often say that salary is the primary reason people leave their place of employment. Employees tell a different story. While salary is important, feeling a sense of belonging and being appreciated for who they are is very important to most employees.

Gary and Paul have done extensive research in the application of appreciation at work. It may surprise you to know that our language of appreciation at work is often similar (but not necessarily the same) as it is in our more personal relationships.

As leaders, knowing how to help your staff feel truly valued elevates employee engagement, decreases turnover, increases loyalty and leads to a more positive work environment.

Even if you are a solopreneur, knowing what you need to feel valued is important. The information Gary and Paul provide can benefit you as well.

Join us for this lively discussion in learning how all of us can feel more valued and valuable in our work.
