ASSESSMENTS
Identifying Strengths and Opportunities
Self-assessment is particularly beneficial for people who are open to looking objectively at their performance and are eager to improve. The value of self-assessment lies in the ability of the rater to take responsibility for his or her own performance and development. No one knows the work, the reasons behind actions taken and the personal goals of an individual better than they do.
Self-assessment is a way for people to form a clearer picture of their own performance. A self-assessment may be used on its own to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement, or it may be combined with feedback from others to create a more expanded view.
